Zipper mostly use in bags & clothes, let us talk about how to deal with the daily zipper failuer:
1. When opening and closing the zipper, what should we do if the chain end bites the thread or the zipper cannot be pulled?
If this happens, don't worry. If you pull the slider forcibly, it will bite deeper and deeper. You should turn the slider back and untie the fabric on the one hand. Don't pull the slider hard to bite in completely, you should push and pull the slider slowly.
2. What should we do if the zipper jams?
The slider should be pulled back a certain distance before pulling the zipper forward. Do not pull it hard, otherwise the chain teeth will be skewed and fall off.
3. What should I do if the opening and closing of the zipper is not smooth?
If a sprocket bite failure occurs when the zipper is pulled. It is necessary to spray the surface and inside of the chain teeth with a paraffin sprayer or paraffin wax, and then move the slider several times to loosen it.
4. What should I do if the zipper gets stuck on the cloth head, causing the zipper plate to break or the zipper to fail to close?
Use one hand to break apart the stuck cloth on both sides and move it to the back. Use the other hand to hold the chain head and pull it forward. Do not use too much force to prevent the pull plate from breaking, and then return the zipper to its original state. In addition, when sewing, make sure that there is enough space for the zipper tape so that the zipper puller can be used smoothly.
